You are kayaking in the Pacific Ocean and will feel the full strength of it, particularly when heading north (against current) and around outcroppings on the island (bigger waves). You are also camping in a remote area with, for the most part, no amenities (grill, toilet, water access, etc.). It is highly recommended that you have experience kayaking in theĀ ocean, are a relatively strong swimmer, and have experience camping in a remote area.
